Brunch in the city!

I am really excited to do this post! I know, I have not been much active lately. Life got in the way but thankfully summer has been good to me! I feel refreshed 😌.

A new eatery has opened up in Valletta and it is absolutely heavenly! I think they actually opened a few weeks ago. It is called ElephantShoe, I would like to know the story behind that name one day. 😉

I highly recommend this place for brunch! The ambience is chic and relaxing, oh and FULLY air-conditioned which is a huge bonus! I’ve been to many places in Valletta where indoors won’t be fully air-conditioned and I refuse to eat in such places (Physically I would not be able to handle food so).

Anyway, the portions are hearty and to die for! I cannot to try out more dishes. The food is just so original and the menu has got Australian dishes as well – they serve Kangaroo meat. I have yet to taste that! I think that the prices are fairly decent since you are dining in the city. The establishment is located near Castile Place, just opposite the Upper Barakka Gardens.

Oh and one more thing! Water is given for FREE. That is kinda bonkers cause no where I’ve ever been to have ever, EVER given water for free over here. I might be exaggerating but it is true. So, it’s another nice plus!

The staff are lovely, extremely helpful and they will surely welcome you with a nice smile!

Apparently it’s Waffles day in the US today so, right on point! I have no idea what how the pink sauce is done, but it’s extremely good! Tasted like mayo but 10000 times better. On the top it’s got two poached eggs and onion crisps and in between the waffles there’s mushrooms, onion crisps, thin slices of pear & halloumi cheese. *chef’s kiss!*
